Capacity building of regional vocational education institutions using Flipped Classroom

Grant by Millennium Challenge Industry-Led Skills and Workforce Development Project to deploy innovative teaching methodology Flipped Classroom in Batumi and Ambrolauri VETs. Flipped Classroom Methodology uses Design Thinking, ICT and Universal Design for Learning to identify and meet learners’ individual needs. Cohort of college teachers were trained and their expertise in modern practices broadened; They’ve mastered not only Flipped Classroom, but also other innovative methodologies that work best with Flipped Learning: i.e., Peer Instruction, Project Based Learning, mobile learning. A Handbook for educators willing to Flipped Classrooms was created. The documentary was filmed about the project dynamics. 

Description of services:

  1. Alignment of Flipped Classroom deployment plans with TVET management
  2. Creation of pilot teams and introduction workshop with TVET teaching staff
